Client: AllHere
AllHere is a leading platform in student engagement. It utilizes AI and chatbots to assist schools in improving student attendance and outcomes. The platform offers personalized nudges to families and students to keep them informed and involved in educational processes.
Role: Lead Product Designer
As the Lead Product Designer, I played a pivotal role in shaping the platform's user experience and overall design strategy. I aimed to create a seamless, engaging, and intuitive interaction between users (students, parents, and administrators) and the platform.

The Challenge
AllHere’s primary challenge was streamlining communication between schools and families in an effective and user-friendly manner. The system needed to handle high volumes of data while maintaining simplicity in its interface. Additionally, it was crucial to ensure that the product was accessible across a wide range of devices and technical proficiencies, ensuring inclusivity for families from diverse backgrounds.
The Process
Research & Discovery: I conducted user interviews and focus groups and analyzed user feedback to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement. This stage was critical for developing a deep understanding of the diverse needs of users—ranging from tech-savvy school administrators to parents with limited digital literacy.
Wireframing & Prototyping: I created wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize the platform's core workflows, focusing on improving engagement, reducing friction in the onboarding process, and optimizing chatbot interactions. These designs were validated with real users through usability testing.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Working closely with the engineering, AI, and customer support teams, I ensured the design aligned with AllHere's technical capabilities and strategic goals. Regular workshops and design reviews with stakeholders were essential to maintaining a user-centered approach while meeting business objectives.
Iterative Design Leveraging an agile methodology, I delivered designs in iterative cycles, continuously refining the experience based on user feedback. I emphasized empathy-driven design, ensuring that all interactions were intuitive, accessible, and engaging.

The Solution
The final design delivered:
Enhanced Chatbot Experience: A more intuitive and responsive AI chatbot interface that caters to both English and non-English speakers (54 languages, to be exact), supporting families with automated, real-time answers.
Streamlined User Interface: A clean, user-friendly dashboard that allowed administrators to easily track student engagement, improving accessibility and reducing training time.
Responsive Design: Optimized for mobile use, ensuring accessibility on all devices.
Impactful User Feedback Loop: Built-in feedback systems helped AllHere continuously improve the experience by gathering insights directly from users.
Results
Increased Engagement: Schools saw a 20% increase in family engagement within the first three months post-launch.
Reduction in Administrative Overhead: Administrators reported a 30% reduction in time spent managing student communications.
Improved Retention: A significant boost in customer retention as a result of the simplified and enhanced user experience.
Positive User Feedback: Users praised the platform for its ease of use, citing the improved chatbot functionality as a key benefit.
Conclusion
At AllHere, I successfully led the design strategy that enhanced the platform’s user experience and contributed to measurable outcomes such as increased engagement and reduced administrative burden. By integrating empathy-driven design principles, I helped ensure that the product was user-friendly and impactful, contributing to AllHere’s mission of improving student attendance and educational outcomes.
